लवा जी महाराज खारिया सोढ़ा LAWAJI MAHARAJ

गौ- रक्षक लवाजी महाराज ( क्षत्रिय भाटी ) का दिव्य मंदिर खारिया सोढ़ा गांव ( जिला पाली )में बना हुआ है । ऐसी लोक मान्यता है कि कालांतर में चोर गायों को चोरी करके ले जा रहे थे तो लवाजी भाटी ने उनको ललकारा और उनसे युद्ध किया । सभी लुटेरों को मार गिराया एवम स्वयम भी शहीद हुए । उनका सिर सेवाली नाडी पर गिरा और धड़ तालाब के किनारे ओरण में गिरा । धड़ के स्थान पर भव्य मंदिर बनाया गया है । 

यही से 500 मीटर की दूरी पर एक सती माता का थान भी है । यह सती कौन थी इसकी सटीक जानकारी अभी भी गांव में उपलब्ध नही है ।

Lavaji Maharaaj is a well known Devata in Marwar Area. He has sacrificed his life while saving the cows in the village Kharia Soda (Taluka Sojat City, Pali Marwar) .The temple renovation is done with the grace of Lavaji Maharaj by Thaakur Bheron Singh Rathore and Ratadia family (Mahajan) from Sojat City.The Oran is having the area of approx 600 bigas and being well maintain mainly by Soda Sardar from Kharia Soda.The occation was on 21 Auguat 2010 and a cultural program is organized on 22 nd in which Jojavar Thaakur and Pali Jila Pramukh Shree Khushvindar Singh Sa was the Chief Guest. He was being accompany by local MLA and other elected personals. on 23rd sept 2010 , the local fare is also celebrated in memory of LAWA ji maharaj. this fare is celebrating every year as tradition.

History of Lawa ji Maharaj - 

In Khariya sodha LAWAJI MAHARAJ had Great War with more than 100 thieves for freedom of Cows. During the war after cut of his head he continued his fight through remains body. In his historical memories two place are developed for worship. One place developed near the “Sewali Naadi” where his head was cut by thieves. The Sewali Naadi was known as Shir Wali Naadi (The Pond where head was dropped ) but due to pronunciation difference between local dialect and Hindi language this name concerted in Sewali/ Hewali Naadi. The second place is developed as a huge temple.

khariya sodha: khariya sodha: "Khariya sodha is a small village in Pali district of Rajasthan state. Its established by sodha kshatriya rajput. at the centre of this village there is two main entrance gate which known as Sodha Rawli pole and second is Charan`z pole.The rawali pole for sodha family is recently renewed by collective efforts and contribution of Sodha rajput.There is a small temple of Maa sachiyay Devi which is relocated by special efforts of Thakur Dalpat singh sodha and his sons.
Near by this historical gate there is two beautiful temples of God Shiva and God charbuja.appx 10 yrs ago (1995) these both temples were renewed by collective efforts of villagers.after renewed the Shiva Temple the flag on temple is located by Thakur shaitan singh and The crown is located by Thakur Ram singh s/o Late Sh Kundan singh sodha at the top of Charbhuja temple.
In the village the two more beautiful temple is available of Lord Ram dev ji and Goga ji maharaj. at the distance of 1.5 km The temple of Lord LAWA JI MAHARAJ is also available which is covered by a small and historical beautiful Forest. khariya sodha

Khariya sodha is a small village in Pali district of Rajasthan state. Its established by sodha kshatriya rajput. The sodha rajput comes here from Amarkot tehsil of Pakistan. They comes here before freedom of india. Even age of this village is morethan 250 years. There is a document named is KURSHINAMA OF KHARIYA SODHA was developed by Rao of Nagour shows the history and Vanshawali of Sodha rajput of it. This beautiful village situated between Sojat city and Marwar junction. Its 7 km far from national highway no 14 on link road of Marwar junction.There is popular temple of God Lawa ji maharaj. this temple is situated near to a pond which is covered by small forest which is protected by villagers.
